Overview
The Respira for WordPress WooCommerce Add-on extends Respira's safety-first workflow to your WooCommerce store. 105 WooCommerce tools (as of add-on v4.0.0) that connect commerce data to page builder visuals and make the store readable to AI shopping assistants, with a snapshot, a dry-run preview, and an approval step on every change.
With the add-on installed, the total MCP surface on the site is 302 tools: the 197 available on any WordPress site plus the 105 woocommerce_* tools.
Pricing:
- Studio and Founder plans: included free, no separate purchase
- Maker and Builder plans: €95/year as a separate add-on
No free trial on the WooCommerce add-on. The core Respira plugin has a 7-day trial, but the WooCommerce add-on is paid from day one.

New in v4.0.0: the storefront works on block themes
Before v4.0.0, storefront intelligence assumed a page builder. On a block theme it found none and returned "no page builder detected", which meant the storefront tools were inert on exactly the stack WordPress core is pushing people toward.
That gap was found and documented, live-verified, by Dale Smith of revWorx, who builds exclusively on FSE block themes and published the field study that drove this work.
Storefront intelligence is now FSE-first with page-builder fallback
- On a block theme, analysing a shop page returns real structural analysis against the native
archive-producttemplate instead of an unsupported message - Where a page builder is present, the existing builder path still runs
Badges land where WooCommerce puts them
- Sale and low-stock badges are positioned inside the product image, matching WooCommerce's own product card rather than floating outside it
- An existing badge means the write is refused as a no-op rather than duplicated. A second run does not stack a second badge
Product-card fields addressed by canonical block name
- Fields are addressed by the WooCommerce block name:
woocommerce/product-image,woocommerce/product-price,woocommerce/product-title,woocommerce/product-button - Requested attributes are intersected with the installed block's registered attributes, so an unrecognised key is refused rather than silently accepted and dropped
Reporting
- Bounded, HPOS-compatible revenue reporting, sales time-series, top-product reporting, order reporting, and privacy-safe customer reporting
Read-only store discovery
- Store configuration, payment gateways, shipping zones and tax rates are readable. They stay read-only
Native webhook management, approval-gated
- Create and manage native WooCommerce webhooks: HTTPS targets only, allowlisted topics only, and secrets are write-only. Every webhook change goes through approval
v4.0.0 requires Respira for WordPress plugin 8.0.0 or newer.
What's included (105 tools)
The add-on grew from commerce CRUD into the full storefront layer. The areas:
Products, categories, and brands
- Create, read, update, and duplicate simple and variable products
- Full CRUD for product categories, tags, and brands
Variations, attributes, and swatches
- Variation CRUD and one-call variation-matrix generation with a dry-run preview
- Global attributes, plus the WooCommerce 10.9 colour and image swatches (wc-visual)
Agent-ready commerce (v3.1)
- Product feeds in six formats (Google Shopping XML, OpenAI/ChatGPT JSONL, Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, generic CSV) plus a store llms.txt at the site root, rebuilt on schedule and minutes after products change
- Signed cart links that fill a shopper's cart and land on your own checkout, with agent-origin order attribution and a revenue report
- The readiness score becomes a fix loop: an ordered fixlist, GTIN and gallery writes, and image alt-text tools
- Full detail on the Agent-Ready Commerce page
Subscriptions, Bookings, and Memberships (v3.1)
- 14 write tools tested against the real Woo extensions: list, inspect and transition subscriptions, reschedule bookings with a conflict scan, pause and resume memberships, set end dates. Dry-run by default
Product configurator (STAGGS, v3.2)
- Read and edit STAGGS product configurators by prompt: enable per product, list attribute groups, and rewrite option items (labels, prices, defaults) through the STAGGS/Carbon Fields helpers so storage stays consistent. Writes are allow-listed: any key outside the known-safe set refuses the whole request. The piece no other WooCommerce MCP has
Orders, refunds, and notes
- Order listing, status updates (which trigger WooCommerce emails), and order notes
- Refunds are dry-run by default: money only moves when you explicitly confirm, and a refund is capped to the order's remaining refundable total
Coupons and customers
- Full coupon CRUD, and customer CRUD. Customer writes are PII-aware: confirm-to-delete, and IDs only in the audit log
Inventory and AI-readiness
- Stock levels, stock status, and low-stock detection
- An AI-readiness score (0-100) per product and across the catalog (
product_ai_readiness,catalog_ai_readiness) so an agent knows what to fix before it sells
Storefront design intelligence (FSE-first since v4.0)
- Read your shop and product pages, score them, and edit product cards and checkout layout. On a block theme this runs against the native
archive-producttemplate. Where a page builder is present the builder path is used instead: Elementor, Divi, Bricks, Flatsome, and Gutenberg. Other builders return a clear unsupported message
Store configuration and webhooks (v4.0)
- Read-only discovery of store configuration, payment gateways, shipping zones and tax rates
- Approval-gated native WooCommerce webhook management: HTTPS targets, allowlisted topics, write-only secrets
Reporting (v4.0)
- Bounded, HPOS-compatible revenue reporting, sales time-series, top products, orders, and privacy-safe customer reporting
Catalog operations and pricing
- Advanced product filtering, bulk product and price updates (percentage, absolute, or set-value) with a 100-product cap and snapshots, catalog-health audits, natural-language product search, and snapshot-backed pricing rollback
Safety
Every WooCommerce write operation creates a before/after snapshot. Every bulk operation has dry_run mode. 100-product hard cap per call prevents runaway AI mistakes. PII is redacted by default on order data.
- Snapshots: every product write (create, update, stock change) captures before and after states
- Dry-run: bulk_update_prices, bulk_update_products, bulk_update_stock, schedule_sale all support
dry_run: true - Refunds dry-run by default: a refund is previewed and capped to the order's remaining refundable total; money moves only on explicit confirmation
- Hard cap: maximum 100 products per bulk call
- Audit trail: all commerce writes logged to the Respira audit log
- PII redaction: customer email, phone, and address redacted by default on order endpoints
The financial core of your store stays under WooCommerce and your payment gateway. Respira stages and snapshots changes. You confirm important updates yourself.
